When it comes to fashion, there are many wonderful colors to wear. However, it’s been a very long time since I counted red as one of my personal favorites. A red shirt with jeans, or a chic evening dress in red, sure, but an all-red look is more at home on the catwalk than on the street. That said, red has definitely found its way into our daily lives, and even into my closet – it doesn’t need to be limited to exclusively red outfits. A crimson statement clutch paired with jeans and a shirt, or a Bordeaux-colored Mulberry shopper are fantastic ways to create that wow-effect.
However, my favorite thing about styling with signal colors is that you don’t have to limit yourself to just one tone of red. This color is a reliable eye-catcher, whether worn in a varied combination of nuances and materials, or matched with pink. Nude pumps like the ones I wore at this photo shoot offer a softer contrast. Combined with Chloe’s Carlina, the Marc Cain top and matching 70s style pants create a chic retro flair.
