Are you ready for the party season?

Party season is here and also the same question as every year: What to wear? There are many popular trends for this year’s glamourous time, but one is definately catching everybody’s eyes: Sequins. It’s not a secret that sequins are having a big moment, but not only on the red carpet. You see shiny skirts styled with cozy sweaters or tops worn with a pair of jeans for a dressed-down streetstyle look.

For a long time a more minimalistic style dominated the fashion scene, but since the 80s and 90s celebrate a revival these days more colorful and glamorous looks are seen everywhere. Not at least because of style icons like Lady Diana that are inspiring us so much currently and whose looks are seen so often as a fashion inspiration on social media.

So it’s party season and time to get your perfect dress for the next party, but how to wear a sequin dress without looking like a disco ball? I love to keep the rest of the look in a simple way when wearing that kind of dress which means that you should avoid an overload of sparkling accessories. Add a timeless clutch and a bit more glamourous make up than you usually do with a red lipstick e.g. and this look will always work.

When it comes to shoes you have the choice between sandals or even knee-high boots for a more powerful duo. It depends on what you love more.
